★★ 10/22 Dewai Dorje empowerment
On the 4th day (10/22) of 800th Maha Parinirvana of Lord Jigten Sumgon, Garchen Rinpoche, on behalf of all the disciple receiveing the empowerment of the Guru Yoga called “Indestructible Bliss”(Dewai Dorje), received ritual implemets such as Khatvanga (trident staff), Kapala (skull-cup), and Damaru (hand drum) which will be used in the practice of Mantrayana in the future.

★★ 3rd day of 800th Maha Parinirvana
On the 3rd day (10/21) of 800th Maha Parinirvana of Lord Jigten Sumgon, Garchen Rinpoche lead the Sangha of Gar monastery to offer body, speech and mind mandala to H.H.Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche. In the empowerment of the Guru Yoga called “Indestructible Bliss” (Dewai Dorje) , at the request of His Holiness, Garchen Rinpoche, representing all the disciples in the empowerment, came up to pick and offer a flower pedal to the mandala which will show the sign of disciples' accomplishment in the future.

On October 17, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, together with other Rinpoches, Tulkus, Khenpos, Drupons and lay people, greeted H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche when he returned to Jangchubling Monastery, Dehra Dun, India.

October 16, in Jangchubling Monastery in Dehra Dun, Garchen Rinpoche performed puja and consecrated 800 statues of Lord Jigten Sumgon, which were specially made for the grand event - Commenmoration of Lord Jigten Sumgon's 800th Maha Parinirvana.

★★ 10/14 Arrival in Jangchubling བྱང་ཆུབ་གླིང་དུ་འབྱོར་བ།
H.E. Garchen Rinpoche arrived Jangchubling Monastery in Dehra Dun, Uttarakhan, India on October 14th. He was greeted by the Sangha and lay people in the area. The Sangha offered body, speech and mind mandala to Rinpoche. From October 19th to 25th, Rinpoche will attend Commenmoration of Lord Jigten Sumgon's 800th Maha Parinirvana as one of the invited senior masters of Drikung Kagyu lineage.

Garchen Rinpoche meditated in Madarava's Cave by the lakeside of Lotus Lake (Tso Pema)
གནས་ཆེན་མཚོ་པདྨའི་འགྲམ་དུ་ལྷ་ལྕམ་མན་དྷ་ར་བའི་སྒྲུབ་ཕུག་ཞིག་ཡོད་པའི་༧སྐྱབས་རྗེ་མགར་ཆེན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་དེའི་ནང་ཉམས་བཞག་ལ་གནས་བཞིན་པ།

During his stay in the holy place of Guru Rinpoche - Tso Pema (10/11 - 10/13) , Garchen Rinpoche would go to Princess Mandarava's Cave by the Lotus Lake to meditate and recite Guru Rinpoche's prayers there. The nun who garded the cave introduced this place to Rinpoche with sincere devotion. Mandarava left a hand print on the rock in the cave. Rinpoche said, Princess Mandarava had very high realization, she accomplished Rainbow Body.

★★ 10/13 Thekchok Otsal Ling ཐེག་མཆོག་འོད་གསལ་གླིང་།
Morning, Garchen Rinpoche performed Dharma Protector puja in the Protector shrine room of Drikung Kagyu Buddhist Monastery (Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling) in Tso Pema (Rewalsar, Himachal Pradesh, India). After that, Luo Ontul Rinpoche saw off Garchen Rinpoche to Kullu. On the way to Kullu, Garchen Rinpoche was invited to bless the Sangha and lay people in Drikung Kagyu Thekchok Otsal Ling (in Village Mandoglu, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India). The abbot of Thekchok Otsal Ling is Venerable Drubpon Tharchin Rinpoche.

Garchen Rinpoche bestowed White Tara empowerment in Drikung Kagyu Buddhist Monastery (Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling) in Tso Pema (Rewalsar, Himachal Pradesh, India) - the holy place of Guru Rinpoche. The abbot of Drikung Kagyu Buddhist Monastery is Lho Ontul Rinpoche.

★ Yesterday (10/10), Garchen Rinpoche arrived Drikung Kagyu Buddhist Monastery (Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling) in Tso Pema (Rewalsar, Himachal Pradesh, India) and was greeted by the monks and lay people there. Garchen Rinpoche was invited by Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche of Ningma lineage to bestow White Tara empowerment for the Sangha of Choling Monastery (Bir, Himachal Pradesh, India) and the Tibetan villagers nearby.

Garchen Rinpoche was invited to visit Bhumang Jampaling Monastery (Bir, Himachal Pradesh, India), gave blessing and brief talk to the Sangha and Tibetan lay people there. Bhumang Jampaling Monastery was founded by Bhumang Rinpoche of Drikung Kagyu lineage.

H.E. Garchen Rinpoche bestowed White Tara empowerment in Nyungne Temple. About 500 - 600 monks/nuns and Tibetan villagers in the nearby area came to receive the empowerment.

★★ 10/7 Arrival in Bir སྤྱི་ཟླ་༡༠ཚེས་༧ཉིན་སྦི་རི།
Garchen Rinpoche arrived Nyungne Temple in Bir, Himachal Pradesh in India the day before yesterday (10/7). The Sangha and many Tibetan villagers in the nearby area came to greet him. This temple was founded by Garchen Rinpoche and the main practice of the Sangha is Nyungne. This is Rinpoche's first visit to the temple.

★★10/06Garchen Rinpoche had an audience with H.H. Dalai Lama yesterday (October 6) in Daramsala, India. At the request of Rinpoche, Dalai Lama bestowed Boddhichitta Vow to 6000 disciples.
