Wen Cheng Princess’s Dharma Wheel in Gar Monastery

2019-02-11

The holy oil from Wen Cheng princess’s dharma wheel in Gar Monastery
that is always with Garchen Rinpoche is used to bless disciples,
people with serious illness and all sentient beings.

Believe that many disciples of Garchen Rinpoche have received
the blessings from the holy oil.

Garchen Rinpoche also uses it to consecrating
the Buddha’s statue and Thangka.

From that it is obvious that this oil is very precious and particular.

The holy oil is from Gar Monastery’s essential treasure,
Wen Cheng Princess’s dharma wheel.

It came from the butter that is used as lubricating oil in the wheel’s axis.

As this dharma wheel has the dakini’s blessing texts,
plus the merit from the mantra reciting and also the dharma wheel
spinning day and night, the holy oil has the incredible blessing.

The holy dharma wheel is located in the second rock hall of
upper temple’s main hall of Gar Monastery.
Normal days only the on-duty monks could go inside.
The normal people can only worship from the main hall.

In Tibet, many people come from very far places to Gar Monastery,
just in order to see the dharma wheel in person, pray, provide offerings,
receive blessings, and to bring a small portion of the holy oil home.

It is the first time that Garchen Dharma Institute joyfully shares
this precious video of Wen Cheng princess’s holy dharma wheel
from Gar Monastery with you.

Wish you Happy New Year and Tashi Delek!
